  1. Understanding Crochet
    1. Wearability
      1. SCC designs with adjustability(corsets, ties, etc) and elastic as needed - as yarn can stretch some over time.
    2. Sensory
      1. Depending on if you choose organic cotton or another type of yarn, crochet can feel different on your skin than regular fabric. Choose organic cotton if you are sensory sensitive.
    3. Cleaning
      1. Crochet needs to be hand washed or washed on a gentle cycle in a garment bag (any mesh bag will do) in cold water.
        1. I prefer to hand wash the areas that need it over washing the entire garment if I have time.
      2. Lay flat to dry (avoid direct sunlight).
    4. Lining
      1. SCC bikini bottoms come lined in the gusset area with organic cotton or a cotton jersey fabric for coverage, cleanliness and breathability.
      2. If you would like the entire bikini bottom lined or any other item lined with fabric (piercings may need this) please let me know and depending on what you need lined I may charge a small fee.
  2. Cost
    1. Design Fee ($50) is a non refundable deposit that covers the cost of the design time.
      1. After the design fee is paid, I will spend time gathering inspiration and information from you to put together multiple designs for you to choose from. I will then update the designs as requested - rendering designs UP TO 5 MORE TIMES after initial designs are sent before requesting another design fee.

  3. Turnaround time
    1. Turnaround time is approximately 2-6 weeks after design deposit is paid.
    2. No dates will be guaranteed, you will receive your item as soon as possible.
  4. Shipping
    1. Standard ONLY (may be UPS or USPS)
    2. Insurance available - if you do not purchase shipping insurance and your item is lost in the mail, SCC will not be liable to remake your fit.
  5. Sizing
    1. Specific sizes will be requested (link to website)
      1. Measure close to your skin and expect most items to come looking a little small - as they should stretch to fit and include ties or corsets depending on the design style to hold your item to your body.
  6. Changes
    1. Fees will be applied if any changes are requested after design decision is made.
  7. Fixes
    1. 1 free return and fix if measurements were not correct.
    2. If any fault of SCC - will fix as many times as needed (such as measurements are correct).
    3. Any changes \after design deposit is made, fees will apply.
    4. If there is a reason that a fix cannot be made when requested (such as a limited fabric is no longer available), an item of equal value can be offered in replacement.
  8. Missing Items
    1. If you purchase shipping insurance, SCC will remake your fit at no cost to you AFTER 60 days (to ensure the item doesn’t reappear in mail).
    2. If you do not purchase shipping insurance, SCC will not be liable to remake your fit.
  9. Trade ins (trade in your item for $ towards a future custom or ready to ship set).
